Roadwax is a blog that defends the ordinary citizen’s right to question the motives of today’s super-powerful political systems and corporate giants. It is intended to be informative, thought-provoking and fun.
Roadwax particularly focuses on dumb-ass and otherwise unbelievable press releases from major brand names and government departments. However, it mainly focuses on the automotive industry and legislation and…politicians. Why politicians? Because they urgently need reminding that they are supposed to be working for the good of others and not themselves. They serve us. We do not serve them.
If Roadwax makes reference to any person or a manufacturer’s product, whether it be in a critical or positive way, this is not intended to be any endorsement or criticism of the person or product beyond stating the writer’s personal opinion. For more on this issue, please read my very first post.

Okay Linda, you can have it all…but I get to keep anything made of pastry. Nothing in my declaration shall be construed to mean that pie-based, meat – themed farinaceous goods, pasties, wildfowl packed within a rich gravy or other such similar gifts from manufacturers are in any way bribes.
